Working with an orthopaedic physiotherapist supports the proper functioning of the musculoskeletal system – the spine, joints and muscles. Individually tailored exercises and regular sessions not only enable you to function freely in your daily life, but also to reduce or eliminate pain, improve mobility, and better prepare the body for any necessary procedures or operations (prehabilitation), thereby enabling a faster return to full fitness.
Strengthening muscles, improving stability and range of motion before surgery can shorten recovery time and reduce the risk of complications.
We support patients:
suffering from back and joint pain (including chronic pain);
following sports injuries and overuse injuries;
in rehabilitation following surgery or medical procedures (e.g. following knee or hip replacement);
with degenerative joint conditions (e.g. carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow/golfer’s elbow, subacromial impingement);
involving inflammation (e.g. rotator cuff syndrome);
with restricted mobility, stiffness and muscle tension.
