In vitro success depends on a number of factors: the age and health of the patients, sperm quality and the woman’s ovarian reserve (AMH), as well as the couple’s medical history. The clinic’s experience is also crucial – a modern laboratory and a qualified team of specialists.

The specific course of each in vitro procedure at the INVICTA Clinic always depends on patients’ individual needs and their medical circumstances. However, the general treatment plan includes several standard elements.
First, the doctor will carry out a detailed medical history interview with you and order the appropriate diagnostic tests. The information obtained will enable them to assess whether IVF is the best option for you. If so, you will be referred for treatment.
Throughout the entire process, a designated Patient Care Coordinator will be there to look after you. This is someone you can feel free to ask any question that comes to mind. The coordinator will guide you through the entire process and will be at your disposal at every stage of treatment, so that you feel 100 per cent looked after.
A very important stage in the in vitro fertilisation process. The quality of the retrieved eggs – and thus the success of the in vitro fertilisation procedure – depends directly on how the hormonal stimulation proceeds.
At INVICTA Clinics, doctors use the latest medical advances to achieve the highest possible success rates. They are supported in this by AIOO, our proprietary software utilising artificial intelligence algorithms. It is this software that will suggest the optimal stimulation protocol to your doctor, based on an analysis of your medical results and 12,000 procedures already carried out. The use of AIOO reduces the doses of medication for hormonal stimulation by an average of 10 per cent. As a result, the strain on your body will be reduced, and the risk of complications and side effects following stimulation will be lower.
At this stage, you will attend follow-up appointments, during which the doctor will set a date for the next step: egg retrieval.
Egg retrieval is carried out under general anaesthesia. The procedure takes around 15 minutes. The doctor inserts a vaginal ultrasound probe fitted with a fine needle and uses it to puncture the mature ovarian follicles one by one, retrieving follicular fluid together with the egg from each one.
After the procedure, the patient remains under observation for an hour or two – this is standard procedure following anaesthesia.
During this time, we prepare the partner’s sperm, whilst the embryologist locates the eggs in the collected fluid.
The next step is the fertilisation of the eggs with sperm from the partner or a donor, which we carry out in the laboratory. We use our proprietary sperm selection techniques to ensure that we select the highest-quality sperm, offering the best chance of producing fully healthy embryos.
At INVICTA Clinics, you also have the option of undergoing PGT testing, which involves the verification and selection of genetically normal embryos; this increases the success rate of IVF by 28 per cent and can reduce the risk of miscarriage by up to three times.
The embryos are usually ready for transfer to the uterus after 5 days.
The time has come to transfer the embryo into the uterine cavity so that it can implant and the long-awaited pregnancy can begin. At this stage, your IVF treatment plan will include as many as five follow-up appointments. This is all to closely monitor the implantation process and leave nothing to chance. The doctor will check your hormone levels (oestradiol, progesterone and hCG) and, based on these, will adjust the dosage of the relevant medication. This is all to provide the best possible support for the embryo to implant correctly in the uterus.
You will receive preliminary news on whether the IVF treatment has been successful around 10 days after the transfer. The doctor will determine this based on your bHCG hormone levels, and will provide the final assessment during your appointment, which will take place approximately 17 days after the transfer.
