A child’s heart rate is one of the key indicators of their well-being, which is why we start checking their pulse as soon as possible.
A CTG scan is used to monitor the baby’s heartbeat whilst simultaneously recording the contractions of the uterine muscle. It enables the earliest possible detection of any life-threatening conditions affecting the baby.

* PAPP-A and B-HCG tests, as well as first- and second-trimester antenatal ultrasounds, included in the basic and extended packages, are carried out under National Health Fund (NFZ) contracts at INVICTA Clinics, in accordance with commercial service standards.
NFZ insurance is required to purchase the basic and extended packages.
The frequency of check-ups depends primarily on the stage of pregnancy. During the first two trimesters, appointments with the doctor take place about once a month. In the final weeks of pregnancy, however, appointments may be as frequent as once a week.
The basic antenatal package includes a PAPP-A test, a B-HCG test and antenatal ultrasound scans in the first and second trimesters. The extended and premium packages also include an antenatal ultrasound scan in the third trimester.
Non-invasive prenatal tests are not included in the package, but are eligible for a 20% discount.
All services provided at INVICTA Clinics can be paid for in convenient instalments.
If, for medical reasons, the pregnancy ends before the 40th week, a refund equivalent to the value of the unused services will be issued.

As part of the antenatal care packages, every expectant mother is provided with easy access to a dedicated midwife, who offers support at every stage of pregnancy and answers any questions she may have. However, the package does not include 24-hour medical care.
INVICTA’s pregnancy packages have been designed to ensure appropriate care, even in the case of high-risk pregnancies. However, it is recommended that you choose the extended or premium package in order to tailor the scope of cover as closely as possible to the individual needs of the expectant mother.
Yes, it is always possible to change your attending doctor, and the process itself is quick and straightforward. Thanks to the central patient information system (Invictus), any gynaecologist can access a complete set of completed documents, including your medical history and treatment recommendations.
The antenatal packages have been designed to help expectant mothers prepare as well as possible for childbirth; however, the birth itself is not included in them.
