The boy’s health
Proper medical care for boys and teenagers is crucial for their health in adulthood. INVICTA’s specialists support young patients at every stage of growing up – look after your child’s health and safety today.
At INVICTA Clinics, we have been supporting the health of boys and young men for over 25 years, recognising how their needs change as they progress through the different stages of adolescence. Our experience shows that proactive care for men’s health should begin as early as childhood. We help them understand the changes taking place in their bodies and navigate puberty safely and calmly.
Boys and their parents can count on clear communication, a discreet approach and the support of experienced specialists. In this way, together we build a solid foundation for future health.
The first visit to an andrologist is a key part of preventive healthcare for boys during adolescence. An early consultation allows for an assessment of whether development is proceeding normally, providing parents and their child with a sense of peace of mind and security. The aim of the visit is not only to diagnose any potential abnormalities, but also to provide education and support regarding sexual health and the functioning of the reproductive system. During the visit, the andrologist conducts a detailed medical history, assesses the patient’s health and, if necessary, orders appropriate diagnostic tests.

An initial visit to an andrologist is recommended if a parent notices any worrying symptoms relating to their child’s development or puberty, as well as as a preventative measure during puberty. An andrological consultation allows for an assessment of whether development is proceeding normally and helps to allay any concerns regarding the boy’s health.
An andrologist may refer boys and teenagers for a range of tests tailored to their individual needs. Depending on the individual case, these may include physical examinations, laboratory tests (e.g. hormone tests) and ultrasound or other imaging tests. Their aim is to assess hormone levels, physical development and the young patient’s general state of health.
Signs that may give cause for concern include, amongst others, a significant delay or acceleration in puberty, the absence of changes typical for a given age, marked growth abnormalities, changes in the appearance of the genitals, or persistent pain.
Acne in men may have a hormonal cause, particularly during puberty, linked to rising testosterone levels. It is worth consulting an andrologist if the acne is severe, resistant to dermatological treatment, or accompanied by other hormonal symptoms, such as hair loss or changes in body weight. An andrologist will help diagnose the cause and recommend appropriate treatment.
It is worth taking these signs seriously and talking to both your child and a specialist. Emotional difficulties often accompany the changes that occur during puberty and may require psychological support or a more comprehensive assessment of your child’s health.
